Virtual Streaming CS Mentoring

What I learned today in the virtual meeting were many things. One of them was what the speakers do in a day. The first speaker says she works with her coworkers to solve problems and design features and attend meetings to discuss goals, priorities, and tasks. Alyda was the second speaker and she gave really good advice to 9th,10th and 11th grades about college. She told them step by step what they have to do starting with getting good grades and then preparing what they want to study in college. She said that if you go into a career thinking that its what you really want but then change your mind about it, it is okay to change majors because you have to follow what you feel comfortable in. She also advised that we should choose a college that best fits our requirements because it is where you will build your network. Think about what is your "thing" and how you will market yourself to the admissions committee. College is about opportunities of which you will take advantage, i
