TAKE THE CHALLENGE:
INCLUSIVE PLAY: DESIGNING GAMES FOR ALL

 The Game Design Prompt:
Let’s elevate the gaming experience and make it more accessible than ever.
Your challenge is to design a game for all players and break down barriers that can
prevent some players from accessing or enjoying gaming. Apply Universal Design methods
when designing your game (with a focus on software features), so that it can be played by people
who have one or more types of disabilities, such as visual (blindness or low vision), auditory
(deafness, hard of hearing), speech (loss of difficult to understand) or cognitive and learning
disabilities (difficulties with attention, memory, language processing, reading, reasoning, etc.).
Also, including characters and features in the game that depicts an inclusive environment. When
we design in a more inclusive way, we can create a more positive gaming experience for everyone.

  • Think of what people want
  • Chose a group
  • How would the game get the message across

  • Game would be a clicker
  • Clickers are non stressful in a way
  • They relieve stress
  • Clicking cars could be satisfactory
